SinC Middle Tennessee Chapter

Our chapter Sisters and Mister Sisters include more than two dozen Nashville-area authors. Our members range from best-selling and award-winning to aspiring and up-and-coming.

Among our Sisters and Misters are dedicated readers there to learn about the craft of writing, and to take part in law enforcement and forensic expert talks, field trips, and book discussions.

And all of us Sisters or Misters share a love of books and the well-written word. We have so much fun, well, it's criminal.

Sisters in Crime offers a friendly, supportive network for crime writers at every stage of their careers.

  • Community and connection. Our local and online chapters, social media groups, and face-to-face gatherings at national and regional conferences offer networking and mentoring to support your growth as writer and nurture your career.

  • Education. Our online webinars, master classes, scholarships, and individual educational grants will develop your skills in the craft and business of writing and keep them current.

  • News you can use: Our feature-rich newsletter, monthly industry news summary, and discounts on important publications in the mystery field will save you time and keep you up-to-date in a complex and fast-changing writing and publishing environment.

  • Advocacy and outreach: Our library and bookstore grants, Eleanor Taylor Bland Crime Fiction Writers of Color Award, industry monitoring project, and public resources make us a major voice for diversity and excellence in crime writing.

Sisters in Crime welcomes everyone who supports our mission to promote the ongoing advancement, recognition and professional development of women crime writers.
